When it comes to security cameras for homes or businesses, there are many options from which to choose. Three companies that offer these products are Ring, Arlo and Google Nest. Each one has its own unique set of features and capabilities and all can interface with a home's network to record and monitor cameras from a PC, phone or tablet. When choosing cameras for the home, make sure they record well in both daylight and darkness. We recommend enough storage capacity to hold at least seven to ten days of recorded video.
Ring offers several different types of cameras. The Lee's Summit Police Department has an established partnership with Ring that allows citizens to easily share any captured video or still image from their Ring camera with the department.
