The following City* streets are closed or scheduled for closure due to road construction or repair**:

Section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway - is set to close Wed., Mar. 11, until Mon., Mar. 16. The work is necessary for concrete work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project.

Northwest Olive and Northwest Orchard streets - closed Mon., March 2 until October 2026. Northeast Central Street and Northeast Main Street will also be closed to through traffic. These initial closures are to minimize trafic while crews begin tree clearing and utility work as part of the Olive and Orchard Road and Stormwater Improvements project.

Sections of Northeast Douglas Street at Northeast Ash Street and at Northeast Forest Avenue - is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wed., Feb. 18 through Fri., Feb. 20. The closure is necessary for sewer camera work by a utility contractor.

Section of Northeast Independence Avenue between Northeast Missouri Road and Northeast Colbern Road - is closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Fri., Feb. 27. The closure is necessary for installation of a gas main by a utility contractor.

Sections of Southeast Lee Haven Drive and Southeast Corder Avenue - set to close Mon., Feb. 16, at approximately 9 a.m. This will remain closed for approximately 3 weeks. The closure is necessary for stormwater work.

Northeast Maybrook Road between Northeast Anderson Drive and Northeast Saint Andrews Circle - will close Mon., Feb. 9. The bridge on Northeast Maybrook Road will also be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 pm. on Mon., Feb. 9 and Tues., Feb. 10. The closure is necessary for geotechnical drilling.

Intersection of Northwest Ward Road and Northwest Blue Parkway - is set to close Fri., Feb. 13 and will remain closed until approximately the end of June. A section of Northwest Blue Parkway between Northwest Executive Way and Northwest Ward Road will also be closed. The closures are necessary for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Northwest Ward Road and Northwest Blue Parkway as part of the Ward Road Improvements project.

Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Columbus and Northeast Langsford - is set to close Wed., Feb. 18 for approximately three weeks. The closure is necessary for sewer work which is associated with the West Prairie Lee Sewer Capacity Study, Upgrade and Construction project

Section of Southeast Fifth Street between Southeast Onyx Drive and Southeast Battery Drive - is set to close Fri., Jan. 16 at approximately 9 a.m. and will remain closed until the end of Feb. The closure is necessary for stormwater work.

Section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth and South Blue Parkway - closed Mon., Jan. 19 and has been extended throught Fri., Feb. 6. The closure is necessary for water line work as part of the Route 291 North and US 50 Interchange project.

Section of Southeast Flagstone Drive between Southeast Todd George and Southeast Annette Street - is set to close daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Mon., Jan. 12 through Mon., Feb. 9. The closure is necessary to relocate a section of water main.

Sections of Southwest Pryor Road between Southwest Longview and Southwest Scherer roads and between Southwest Scherer and Southwest Hook roads - closed June 30, 2025, and will remain closed until Spring 2026. The closures are necessary for roadway improvements.

Section of NW Quarry Park Road - The City will once again implement an inclement winter weather route for Northwest Quarry Park Road. Please note the inclement weather route for the 2025-2026 winter season.
