The following City* streets are closed or scheduled for closure due to road construction or repair**:

NW Ward Lane between NW Village Drive and NW Ward Road - closed Fri., July 24 until approximately the end of July due to concrete repair over a stormwater line.

Section of Pryor Road between Eagle Creek Drive and Eagle View Drive - will remain closed for at least several more weeks, into August 2026. Section of Pryor Road between Eagle View Drive and Scherer Road is now open. Improvements to the Pryor Road and Hook Road intersections are expected to begin later this summer, 2026.

Section of SW Noel Street at SW 2nd St. - is set to close daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Monday, July 20, and lasting for approximately two weeks. The closure is necessary for gas main work by a utility contractor.

NW Lincolnwood Drive at the intersection of Ward Road - is closed Mon, July 20 in order to pour the new intersection approach. The closure is expected to last approximately one week. Ward Road will be open in both directions from NW Lincolnwood Drive to NW O'Brien Road.

Section of SW Robin Road at the intersection of SW 2nd Street - is set to close to through traffic on Mon., July 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for approximately one month. The closure is necessary for the installation of gas lines for Spire.

Section of NE Johnson Street between NE Maple and NE Short Streets - will close on Wed., July 1, for approximately one week. The closure is necessary for the installation of sanirary sewer lines as part of the Prairie Lee Sanitary Sewer Project.

Section of NW Main Street just North of the Forest Avenue intersection - will close on Mon., June 22, for approximately three weeks. The work is necessary for completion of stormwater infrastructure installation as part of the Olive and Orchard Streets Road and Stormwater Improvements project.

Southbound section of Southeast Douglas Street between Southeast First and Southeast Second streets - will close daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement repairs on Wed., June 17 through Friday, July 10. Currently the contractor expects to begin mid-week the week of June 22. Work is necessary after a water main break and water maintenance work.

Intersection of Northeast Orchard Street and Southbound Northeast Independence Avenue - will close daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for approximately three weeks for utility work.

Northwest Olive and Northwest Orchard streets - closed Mon., March 2 until October 2026. Northeast Central Street and Northeast Main Street will also be closed to through traffic. These initial closures are to minimize trafic while crews begin tree clearing and utility work as part of the Olive and Orchard Road and Stormwater Improvements project.

Section of NW Quarry Park Road - The City will once again implement an inclement winter weather route for Northwest Quarry Park Road. Please note the inclement weather route for the 2025-2026 winter season.
