Certified / Lateral Entry Police Officer
To be eligible, applicants must hold a valid Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Class A Certification or be able to obtain one by transferring out-of-state law enforcement credentials. Pay is based on a lateral entry scale that rewards up to five years of law enforcement experience.

Recruit Police Officer
This application process is for applicants who do NOT currently hold a Missouri Peace Officer license. This group of applicants will attend the next academy class of 2026 that is tenatively set for August of 2026.

911 Dispatcher / Communications Specialist
This position is a non-sworn / civilian position in our 911 call center. It is a shift work position.

Pay range $26.45 - $38.77 per hour
