For over three decades now, HOTEL CALIFORNIA has been recreating the legendary sound of THE EAGLES and thrilling audiences worldwide. The band set the bar in 1986 and has remained the industry-leading substitute for The Eagles ever since. Playing to huge outdoor and arena audiences, sharing bills with some of rock’s legends, and going places no tribute band has gone before. A long run by any measure, but it begs the question - what makes HOTEL CALIFORNIA so unique? Well, incredible lead vocal similarity, intensely accurate instrumental work, soaring harmonies, and top-flight live performances, just for starters. This Journey tribute band started from the love and respect for the musicians that make up one of the best bands out of California, "JOURNEY."  Revelation has played on some of the biggest stages in the Kansas City area and Beyond. Like, opening for "The Little River Band" on the Main Concert stage at Sturgis, Playing for both the A.B.A.T.E. Boogie of Indiana and Kansas Bike Festivals with thousands in attendance and the Rock and Roll Dream Concert at the Sandstone Amphitheater.

Celebration of the Arts

Celebration of the Arts is a community-wide, free event that spotlights many talented cultural arts groups who call Lee's Summit home. Included are a local dance studio, an aerial dance performance, a theater group, a kid's rock band, and the LSHS orchestra will perform. The night will end with a brief firework show lighting up the sky.

LPA Rules

There is NO REENTRY allowed upon entering a ticketed event. 

All purses, bags, diaper bags, and strollers will be checked to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the venue. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle or discard them into the appropriate trash receptacles at the entry gates. 

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

Ponchos, Lawn chairs, Cell phones, One (1) Emply Water Bottle (cold water is available inside the facility), Sunscreen and bug spray in nonaerosol cans, Blankets and tarps – no larger than 10' x 10', Strollers, Umbrellas (in permitted areas). 

NON-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

Firearms or weapons of any kind, Outside Beverages other than water – No soda, alcohol, juice or energy drinks, Outside food, Wallet chains, Pocket knives, Fireworks, Baseballs, footballs, tennis balls, etc., Coolers, Tents, Grills / Tailgating, Cameras / Video cameras, Scooters, bicycles or skateboards.

Smoking and Tobacco use - a designated area is provided inside the venue, smoking is not allowed outside of the designated area*. 

   *Per city ordinance, smokable marijuana products are prohibited inside the facility.

No pets will be allowed. Service animals will be allowed, only working animals are permitted.

Amphitheater FAQ's

897 NE Bluestem Drive Lees Summit MO 64086.

From US 50

Exit at MO-RA/Todd George Rd/Greenwood and proceed north to Tudor/ Scruggs turn right and proceed through two stop signs at Blackwell Parkway. Enter Legacy Park and turn right onto Bluestem Drive.

 

From I-70

Travel south into Lee’s Summit via I-470 South. Merge left onto 291S. At the Tudor/ Scruggs stop light turn left and proceed east approximately 2.3 miles (1 stop light, 3 stop signs). Enter Legacy Park and turn right onto Bluestem Drive.

 

From I-470 East

Exit at Douglas Street and turn left. Immediately turn right onto Colbern Road. Proceed east on Colbern road. Approximately 3.2 miles, Turn right at the Blackwell stoplight onto Legacy Park Drive and proceed to the south entrance of Legacy Park (3rd left turn). Cross the median and enter Legacy Park. Turn right on Bluestem Drive.

Children ages 3 and under may enter at no charge.

In case of inclement weather: All shows will go on rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather we will keep our fans notified via our webpage and social media sites. An event may be delayed, postponed, or canceled depending on the severity of the weather expected.

Legacy Park Amphitheater offers a wide variety of concession options. This includes cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, candy, popcorn, ice cream, bomb pops, bottled soda (Pepsi Products), and water.

The box office will not be open during the 2021 season. All tickets must be purchased online.

Tobacco use is prohibited in all Lee’s Summit Parks. In order to reduce the negative impact of tobacco use on parks and recreation patrons, the use of all tobacco products is prohibited in parks and facilities maintained owned and/or operated by the Lees Summit Parks and Recreation Department. 

However, smoking will be allowed inside the designated smoking area only, smoking is not allowed outside of the designated area. Per city ordinance, smokable marijuana products are prohibited inside the facility.

Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted at the box office, and concession stands.

Cancellations will only occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or an act of God. In the event of a show cancellation please check LSPR web page, Facebook or call the cancellation line at 969-1516 option 7 for any information about a potential reschedule of the event. Refunds will be initiated upon event cancellation.

A First Aid tent is located inside the top plaza area. We have certified staff available to assist with any issue you encounter.

Yes

No pets will be allowed. Service animals will be allowed, only working animals are permitted.

Re-Entry is not permitted for ticketed events. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening- you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket. If you are ejected from the venue due to a policy violation there will be no re-entry allowed.

Signs are not permitted inside the venue. LSPR does not allow banners or signs inside the venue due to the potential to block other guest’s view of the performance.

Yes: please call 816-969-1550 or visit the info tent during or at the conclusion of an event.

Children who are separated from their family or friends may be escorted by a LSPR staff member to the information tent located at the top of the venue, in the plaza area.

LSPR does not allow weapons of any kind in the venue.   No patron will be allowed to enter the venue with a weapon. The venue will not secure weapons and will not take responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.

No, the venue does not allow camping or overnight parking of any kind - the curfew hours for the park are 11pm-5am. All persons must be removed from the park during curfew hours.  Any action by an individual or group of individuals which represent a danger to themselves, patrons or disrupts the decorum of the facility will be dealt with immediately. Circumstances constituting causes for disciplinary action shall be a matter of record. Disciplinary actions can occur towards either staff or patrons.

Merchandise may be available during our concerts and events. The availability of merchandise is decided by the artist, not LSPR. All concert gear is property of the artist and the venue has no responsibility related to the craftsmanship or style of any merchandise. Please make sure you have the correct size and there are no defects with the merchandise before you walk away from the stand. The venue cannot assist with replacing or refunding any merchandise after the event has ended.

Any handouts or presence onsite needs to be approved by LSPR a minimum of 72 hours before the event. If you do not have permission to be onsite,  you will be escorted off the property immediately.
