Adoption fees include rabies and other vaccinations. A pet license fee will be added for all adopters who reside in Lee's Summit.

Pet License Fee

Adopted animals leave the shelter once they have been spayed or neutered. Vet appointments will be scheduled with a vet office in Lee's Summit once the adoption is finalized. Animals that need to be spayed or neutered can be picked up by their new owners at the vet's office when completed.
