Section of SE Second Street Set to Close March 4
A section of SE Second Street from SE Johnson Street to SE Eastridge Street is set to close on Monday, March 4, and will remain closed until approximately the end of April. The detour route includes SE Grand Avenue, SE 3rd Street and SE Green Street.
There will also be intermittent closures of SE Eastridge at SE Second Street while sanitary sewer work takes place.

A section of NE Ash Street between NE Grand Avenue and NE Short Street is set to close to through traffic on Monday, March 4, and will remain closed for approximately two weeks. On Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 9:52 p.m., the Lee's Summit Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 1200 Block of North Ranson Road in Greenwood, Missouri. Callers said fireworks caught a bush on fire next to the house, and it spread to the building.
