On Monday, July 20, NW Lincolnwood Drive is set to close at the intersection of Ward Road in order to pour the new intersection approach. Local traffic will be able to access NW Lincolnwood Drive from NW Woodbine Avenue in both directions.  Ward Road will also be open in both directions from NW Lincolnwood Drive to NW O’Brien Road.  The closure is expected to last approximately one week.

The City’s mill and overlay and surface seal programs both have night work scheduled July 19-24, to minimize disruptions to traffic on major roads. Night work will generally take place beginning at 8 p.m. at night and will continue overnight until 7 a.m. the next morning, from Sunday night, July 19, through Friday morning, July 24. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

• Treasury Cashier Services is moving to the Development Services Customer Service area on the main floor of City Hall beginning Monday, July 20, 2026.
• The current Treasury cashier windows will close, and all services will be available in the new consolidated customer service area.
• Directional signage will be in place throughout City Hall to help visitors find the new location.

A section of SW Noel Street at SW 2^nd Street is set to close daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning on Monday, July 20, and lasting for approximately two weeks. The detour route includes SW 2^nd Street, SW Lakeview Boulevard, and NW Little Avenue.

• The City of Lee’s Summit received a formal letter of resignation from City Councilmember Cynda Rader on July 15, 2026, effective immediately. Rader, who represented District 3, emailed her resignation to the City Manager, the City Attorney, and the City Clerk.
