Lee’s Summit Testing ALL Outdoor Warning Systems on Wednesday, September 28
LEE'S SUMMIT, MO— On Wednesday, September 28 at 11:00 AM., the City of Lee's Summit will test ALL Outdoor Warning Sirens and the Voice Message System to evaluate recent upgrades, weather permitting.
The City will test the system again next week on the regularly scheduled first Wednesday of the month at 11:00 AM, weather permitting.

Update 2/28/23: Both eastbound and westbound lanes of SW 3rd Street from SW Blue Parkway to SW Jefferson Street are now open to through traffic. Utility work continues primarily in the center/middle lane as the crew is still proofing the pipe and pulling cables through the duct bank. This work is anticipated to be complete in two weeks, weather permitting.

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO--On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 11:25p.m., the Lee's Summit Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 400 Block of SE Youngston Lane. The occupant called 911 and reported the back of the house was on fire, and the occupants were evacuating.
