The Department recently celebrated the completion of the Live Fire Training Facility with a Hose Uncoupling Ceremony. Funded by the 2022 Public Safety Sales Tax and constructed by WHP Training Towers, the state-of-the-art facility provides live fire conditions to train new firefighters and allows experienced firefighters to hone their skills in various scenarios and evolutions.
