LSPD Homicide Investigation
On Friday, November 22 at approximately 8 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of SW Rutherford Drive. The 911 caller indicated that an adult male had been shot inside of the residence; they also indicated that the suspect was a person known to them. As officers entered the home, they located the male victim who was deceased. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival and surrendered himself to Police a few hours later....

The City of Lee’s Summit has established an inclement winter weather route through the Clarkson Construction property north of Northwest Quarry Park Road. This route is necessary due to the upcoming winter weather season and the continued closure of Northwest Quarry Park Road west of Northwest Pryor Road. Section of Northwest Falk Drive Closed
A section of Northwest Falk Drive between Northwest Village Drive and Northwest Ward Road closed today, Tuesday, November, 19, and will remain closed until the afternoon on Friday, November 22. The closure is necessary for the replacement of rusted corrugated metal storm pipe that is causing sinkholes in the road. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
