City’s Crews Continue to Prepare for Weekend Winter Storm

City crews continue to prepare for winter weather and blizzard-like conditions late Friday night and overnight into Saturday morning. Residential streets have all been pre-treated with rock salt, and primary and secondary streets will be treated throughout Friday afternoon and evening.

City crews plowed and treated residential streets throughout the day on Sunday, Jan. 13, and will continue overnight into Monday, Jan. 14. As of 7 p.m. on Sunday, 100% of primary and secondary streets and 50% of residential streets had been completed. City crews have completed plowing and treating primary streets, and are currently plowing and treating secondary streets and some residential streets.
