City’s Crews Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Today, Sat., Feb. 16

City crews have completed plowing and treating primary and secondary streets, and will be plowing and treating residential streets today, Sat., Feb. 16. It may take up to 32.5 hours after the accumulating snow ended on Friday for crews to plow and treat all streets in the city, and the goal is to be complete by 12:09 a.m. on Sun., Feb. 17. Some snow will continue to be packed to streets even after being plowed and treated.

City crews are scheduled to plow and treat streets throughout the weekend and into early next week as several rounds of snow, freezing drizzle, and more snow move through the area. City crews are scheduled to treat streets with salt, and plow as necessary, late Sat., Feb. 9, and overnight into Sun., Feb. 10, as another round of freezing rain/drizzle and snow is forecast for the area.
