Crews moved into the new Lee's Summit Fire Station No. 3 at 2023 NW Shamrock Ave. in August 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID, there wasn't the usual open house we would have for such a project. Effective July 1 the sewer connection fee for new development will be calculated based on the size of the meter, not the number of drains. This is the first change to Lee's Summit's sewer connection fee since 1988 and will help fund the future growth of the sanitary system.
