City Crews Scheduled to Treat Streets as Needed Feb. 27-28
The City's crews are scheduled to treat streets with salt as needed late Tuesday, Feb. 27, and overnight into early Wednesday, Feb. 28, as sleet and snow is forecast for the area. Streets are expected to get slick as temperatures and pavements fall below freezing, and drivers should use caution overnight and into the Wednesday morning commute. Pavement temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by mid-day Wednesday.

Section of SE Second Street Set to Close March 4
A section of SE Second Street from SE Johnson Street to SE Eastridge Street is set to close on Monday, March 4, and will remain closed until approximately the end of April. The detour route includes SE Grand Avenue, SE 3rd Street and SE Green Street.
There will also be intermittent closures of SE Eastridge at SE Second Street while sanitary sewer work takes place.

A section of NE Ash Street between NE Grand Avenue and NE Short Street is set to close to through traffic on Monday, March 4, and will remain closed for approximately two weeks. The detour route includes NE Short Street and NE Grand Avenue. All work is weather permitting and the schedule is subject to change.
