This includes the use of fire pits, patio fireplaces, and other open-flame appliances for such activities. These appliances may only be used with seasoned firewood. Residents are encouraged to properly dispose of leaves by either mulching or bagging them for collection by their designated waste hauler. Section of Northeast Rice Road Closed for Stormwater Repairs Section of Northeast Rice Road Closed for Stormwater Repairs A section of Northeast Rice Road at Northeast Mulberry Street is closed for stormwater repairs. The road will be closed until all work has been completed. A sinkhole had developed due to a rusted corrugated metal storm line. Crews will be replacing the storm line from storm box to storm box. This is the cul-de-sac near Deer Valley Park. The stormwater crew will be replacing two rusted corrugated metal storm lines under Neawanna Drive. The caller reported a fire in the paint room. When the fire department arrived, heavy smoke was visible from a large single-story commercial building.
