City Crews Continue Treating Streets
The City’s crews pre-treated streets, and will continue treating primary and secondary streets tonight, Saturday, Jan. 4, and overnight into Sunday, Jan. 5. Even streets that have been treated are slick. Drivers are urged to stay home if possible; if travel is necessary, use caution and give crews plenty of room to work. The Southeast Green Street entrance into the Lee’s Summit City Hall parking lot and garage is now open.
Work on the Green Street project continues, and Southeast Third Street between Southeast Douglas Street and Southeast Grand Avenue remains closed to thru traffic.
