City Crews Continue to Treat Roadways Today, Nov. 30
The City’s crews continue to treat roadways today, Saturday, Nov. 30 after a heavy band of snow pushed through the area later this morning leaving heavier snow on the north side of the City and a trace on the south side. Crews will work north to south to treat roadways covered in snow. Pavement temperatures are expected to be above freezing through the remainder of the day helping to melt any accumulated snow on the roadways.

City Crews Scheduled to Treat Streets as Needed
The City has a crew scheduled to report at 3 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 to monitor conditions and treat roadways and bridges throughout the morning into the afternoon as needed due to the potential for a dusting to one inch of snow. Pavement temperatures should be above freezing in the afternoon and limit accumulation. Drivers should be cautious, especially on elevated bridges and overpasses.

On Friday, November 22 at approximately 8 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of SW Rutherford Drive. The 911 caller indicated that an adult male had been shot inside of the residence; they also indicated that the suspect was a person known to them.
