The intersection of Southeast Third and Southeast Green streets is now open.

The closure is necessary for rehabilitation to failing sanitary sewer manholes located in the street. LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — The Lee’s Summit Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Strasbourg Apartments, located at 3 NW O'Brien Road, on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 6:33 p.m.
A resident reported smoke filling their ground-floor apartment but no visible flames. A neighboring occupant noted a "pop" sound and the power going out before smelling smoke. The callers evacuated the building.
