The City’s crews are pre-treating streets with salt today, Monday, February 10, ahead of winter weather forecast for this week. Crews started treating streets in residential areas, and then will move to secondary and primary streets. Light snow is expected overnight into Tuesday, February 11, and crews will treat streets as needed.

The Chipman Road Improvements project is moving into the next construction phase beginning the week of Feb. 10, weather permitting. A section of Northwest Commerce Drive between Northwest Main Street and Northeast Tudor Road is set to close on Monday, February 10. Work is permitted through early May. The detour route includes Northwest Main Street, Northeast Douglas Street, and Northeast Tudor Road. The closure is necessary for development-related construction.
