A utility contractor will be installing a gas main as well as abandoning a portion, and work is permitted through the end of November. The utility contractor will be closing the southernmost portion of Southwest Fourth Street between Southwest Jefferson and Southwest Market streets and splitting traffic in the remaining lanes, as well as closing the alley on the south side of Southwest Fourth Street.
