Thursday, January 29, 2026 | Views: 8959 | Categories: Public Works News Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Wednesday, February 18 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Columbus Street and Northeast Langsford Road is set to close on Wednesday, February 18, for approximately three weeks (delayed from Monday, Feb, 9, and Monday, Feb. 16). The full closure will be next to the retention pond between 301 NE Rice Road and 401 NE Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Langsford Road, M291 Highway, and Northeast Columbus Street. This sewer work is associated with the West Prairie Lee Sewer Capacity Study, Upgrade and Construction project. This project consists of improvements to the West Prairie Lee Interceptor to address existing and future sewer capacity constraints.
