Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a brand-new event, Puzzle Madness! This is a 2-hour Jigsaw Puzzle building competition with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere with snacks, prizes, and an optional puzzle swap table. Teams will receive the competition puzzle to take home and the top three teams will receive prizes for finishing the puzzle the most quickly. Teams may range from 2-4 people. Friends and Family are welcome to attend and cheer their team on. The competition will take place on March 24, 2023 at Gamber Community Center from 5:30 - 9:00 pm. Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
