Overnight they completed secondary streets, and made another pass on primary streets due to refreezing and slickness. Crews will continue working on residential streets until all are plowed and treated. Sunshine and warmer temperatures are helping with melting; however, a refreeze is likely overnight due to falling temperatures. Drivers should use caution overnight and during the morning commute on Wednesday, Dec. 3, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
