Crews have been working throughout today to finish a second round of residential streets as well as additional clean-up, and are expected to continue working overnight into tomorrow; however, they will return to treating primary streets as necessary if freezing rain occurs. While there is salt on streets from the past week, streets may still get slick and drivers should use caution especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
