Funded by the 2022 Public Safety Sales Tax and constructed by WHP Training Towers, the state-of-the-art facility provides live fire conditions to train new firefighters and allows experienced firefighters to hone their skills in various scenarios and evolutions. Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
