The City’s crews prepared trucks and equipment due to light snow forecast for tonight, Friday, Jan. 5, and tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 6. Pavement temperatures are expected to remain at or above freezing which should melt any snow on pavements; however, snow may become heavy at times and could overwhelm pavements. The City will continue to monitor the weather and will call out crews as needed for response.

A section of NW Quarry Park Road west of NW Pryor Road is closed to through traffic for an emergency road repair. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be provided on NW Valley Garden Drive/Clifford Road and Bannister Road.
The City has a small crew scheduled to report at 2 a.m. Wed., Dec. 27, to monitor conditions and treat streets with salt as needed due to the potential for snow. Temperatures overnight will hover around freezing which may cause slick conditions.
