The City of Lee’s Summit is holding a snow dry run from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 6, to allow crews to prepare for the upcoming 2024-2025 winter weather season. The annual snow dry run was scheduled in advance and is not in response to any forecast.
The purpose of the snow dry run is to ensure all equipment and software are working properly and that drivers are familiar with snow routes, which is critical to the City’s snow and ice control operations. City crews will test equipment and software, and drive snow routes with plows and salt spreaders installed on trucks. Read more -->
