City Crews Plowing and Treating Primary Streets Today, Monday, Feb. 8

The City’s crews are plowing and treating primary streets today, Monday, Feb. 8, after additional freezing rain and snow moved through the area. Crews will not be working overnight as extremely cold temperatures will make removing snow difficult and limit the effectiveness of salt. Crews will resume plowing and treating secondary and residential streets during daytime hours on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Streets will remain slick, with snow packed to streets. Residents should use caution and drive for the conditions. Additional snow is forecast for Wednesday, Feb. 10. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.
