Refreeze Possible Tonight, Thurs., Feb. 4

***UPDATE*** Pavements have dried and crews completed operations at 3:30 p.m.

The City’s crews are expected to treat streets with salt as needed today, Thursday, Feb. 4, and into the evening as a refreeze of pavements is possible. Streets may become slick as temperatures fall and wet pavements from light rain and snow showers refreeze. Drivers should use caution, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.

A section of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW Longview Road is set to close to through traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and will remain closed for approximately thirty days, weather permitting. There will be a hard closure of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW 5th Street. The detour route for this closure is SW Pryor Road, SW Longview Road and SW Ward Road.
