Refreeze and Freezing Fog Possible Late Saturday, Jan. 2, and Overnight Into Sunday, Jan. 3

The City’s crews are expected to complete plowing and treating residential streets late Saturday night, and then will re-treat primary streets. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing overnight, and wet and slushy pavements may refreeze. Freezing fog is also possible which may cause black ice. Residents should use caution while driving, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. Temperatures are expected to warm above freezing throughout the day on Sunday, Jan. 3, which will help with additional melting of slush from streets.
