The City of Lee’s Summit is hosting a public meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wed., April 19, in the Strother Conference Room on the first floor of City Hall, 220 SE Green St., Lee's Summit, Mo. 64063, to discuss infrastructure improvements for the Douglas Street corridor from Chipman Road to 2nd Street. The City’s crews are scheduled to report at 7 a.m. on Fri., March 3, and will treat streets with salt as needed if rain changes over to snow. The most recent forecast shows snow chances have diminished, and pavement temperatures are expected to remain above freezing.
