City Crews Continued Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Today, Wednesday, Feb. 10

The City’s crews continued plowing and treating residential streets today, Wednesday, Feb. 10. Due to continued cold temperatures, crews stopped operations at 3:30 p.m. today, and are scheduled to continue plowing and treating residential streets beginning at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 11.

Continued cold temperatures limit the effectiveness of salt, and streets may remain snow packed and slick. In addition, any melted snow during the day can quickly refreeze overnight. Residents should use caution and drive for the conditions.

Additional snow is in the forecast for the weekend. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.
