City’s Crews Prepared for Winter Weather Overnight Into Friday, Jan. 15
The City’s crews are scheduled to begin pre-treatment of streets at 11 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Jan. 14, ahead of a winter storm expected to arrive in the early morning hours of Friday, Jan. 15. The City’s crews treated all streets with salt overnight and into today, Jan. 1, and have started plowing and treating primary streets. Trucks have also started making one pass on residential streets while the snow continues to fall. Depending on the total snow accumulation, it can take 24-48 hours after accumulating snow ends for crews to plow and treat all streets.
