City Crews Treating Primary Streets After Light Snow Today, Sunday, Feb. 7

The City’s crews worked overnight treating streets, and are treating primary streets again today, Sunday, Feb. 7, after light snow moved through the area. Extremely cold temperatures will continue to limit the effectiveness of salt, and snow will continue to be packed to some streets. Residents should use caution and drive for the conditions, as some streets will remain slick even after being treated.

Another round of snow is expected on Monday, Feb. 8, and crews will be scheduled to plow and treat streets as needed. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.
