City Crews Preparing for Winter Weather Feb. 15-16
The City’s crews are preparing for potential winter weather as light rain is expected to change over to snow late Wed., Feb. 15, and overnight into Thurs., Feb. 16. Crews are scheduled to report at 7 p.m. Wednesday, and will work through Fri., Feb. 17, depending on total accumulations and daytime temperatures. Higher snow amounts are possible if the storm shifts south.

City Crews Preparing for Chance of Snow Thurs., Feb. 9

The chances are very low at this time but the City’s crews have prepared trucks and equipment and will be called out if necessary. City Crews Completed Treating Streets Today, Jan. 25
The City’s crews treated streets with salt overnight, and completed treating all streets by 3:30 p.m. today, Wed., Jan. 25. Pavement temperatures warmed throughout the day which helped the melting process. As pavement temperatures drop below freezing overnight into Thurs., Jan. 26, some streets may have slick spots due to re-freezing. Drivers should continue to use caution, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.
