Mass Vaccination Event April 14-15 in Lee’s Summit

The City of Lee’s Summit, in collaboration with the state of Missouri, is hosting a drive-thru mass vaccination event on April 14 and April 15 at the Legacy Park Soccer Venue, 1501 NE Legacy Park Drive. The vaccination event will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on both days, with up to 2,200 doses of the Pfizer vaccine expected to be administered per day.

All Missourians over the age of 16 will be eligible to register for an appointment. Registration is required using the Missouri COVID-19 Vaccine Navigator. After registering, individuals will receive an email to schedule an appointment. Registration is also available by calling 877-435-8411.

The event is being done in coordination with the Jackson County Health Department, Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Saint Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit R-7 School District and John Knox Village. For information, visit cityofLS.net/ls-vaccine-event.

The City’s crews began plowing and treating residential streets overnight and will continue throughout the day today, Wed., Jan. 10, and overnight into tomorrow, Thurs., Jan. 11.
