Lee's Summit Mass Vaccination Event

May 6 | Noon - 8 p.m.

The City of Lee's Summit, in collaboration with the state of Missouri, will hold a drive-thru COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination event on May 6 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Legacy Park Soccer Venue located at 1501 NE Legacy Park Dr. The event is done in coordination with the Jackson County Health Department, Lee's Summit Medical Center, St. Luke's East Hospital, Lee's Summit R-7 School District and John Knox Village.

Individuals who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine during the City’s initial mass vaccination event on April 14 and April 15 will receive their second dose. Those wishing to receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will also be accepted but will be responsible for scheduling a separate appointment to receive their second dose.

All Missourians over the age of 16 are eligible to register for an appointment. For those interested in scheduling their first dose, registration is strongly recommended using the Missouri COVID-19 Vaccine Navigator or by calling 877-435-8411. After registering, individuals will receive an email to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins will also be accepted.

  • Turn onto E Langsford Rd. and continue to NE Blackwell Rd.

  • Take a left onto NE Blackwell Rd. continue to NE Legacy Park Dr.

From Interstate 470

  • Take the Colbern Rd. exit from I-470 and continue to NE Blackwell Rd.

  • Take a right onto NE Blackwell Rd. and continue to NE Legacy Park Dr.

What You Need to Know


Arrival

  • To prevent long wait times, please do not arrive more than 20 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. 
  • Participants are asked to remain in their cars as this is a drive-thru clinic.
  • To expedite onsite registration confirmation, participants should bring a paper copy of their registration confirmation or access to the confirmation on their smart phone.

What to Wear

  • The shot is given in the upper arm. Wear a short-sleeved shirt or a shirt with sleeves that can roll up to the shoulder.
  • Face masks are required. 

Departure

Allow for 15 minutes of observation time in your vehicle after receiving the vaccination.
