Fitness Instructor - Lovell and Longview Community Center

Live your passion in the fitness industry! Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Fitness Instructor to join the dynamic team at Lovell Community Center and Longview Community Center. This position will be working part-time. Responsibilities include formatting and leading group fitness classes. This is a great position for someone interested in a future health services or fitness career.

Minimum qualifications include Group Exercise Certification. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred candidates will have Silver Sneakers Certification.

This position will be scheduled 1-5 hours weekly, working flexible shifts at the instructor’s design.

Compensation: $18.50 - $24.50 per hour.

$250k Grant Awarded to LSPR for Mouse Creek Trail Project

Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation has been awarded a $250,000 Recreational Trails Program Grant for the future trail along Mouse Creek in south Lee’s Summit.
