2025 Pollinator Festival

The City of Lee's Summit and LSPR will kick off National Pollinator Week with the Pollinator Festival. Learn about and celebrate pollinators, such as bees, bats, birds, and butterflies, and participate in an art activity or craft. Local organizations and businesses dedicated to protecting and supporting our local pollinators and their ecosystems will be present, offering family-friendly learning and engaging activities for all ages. This is a free event.

Lee’s Summit City Council to Hold a Special Session on Dec. 13

The Lee’s Summit City Council will hold a special session on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. to consider a resolution in response to a pending decision regarding a mask mandate by the Jackson County Legislature. If Resolution No. 21-28 is adopted by the City Council, the city manager will be advised to not assign designated resources to support the Jackson County mask mandate.
