Section of SE Johnson Street Set to Close March 7

A section of SE Johnson Street at SE Cooper Street is set to close on March 7, for approximately a week and a half. This is for work related to the Downtown Market Plaza. Work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

This closure is south of the SE 2nd Street closure that begins March 4.

The Lee's Summit Fire Department will be testing the voice messaging capability of a new Outdoor Warning Siren behind Fire Headquarters on Friday, May 27, 2022, around Noon. The new siren provides coverage for the downtown area and is capable of live and prerecorded voice messages in addition to the traditional storm siren.
