Summit Waves Lifeguard

Calling all water warriors! Do you dream of patrolling the aquatic frontier, keeping swimmers safe and sound as they conquer waves and splash their way to fun? Then dive into this opportunity as a Lifeguard at Summit Waves, where you will make friends and be a part of a dynamic teamwork environment with a sprinkle of fun on top! This position is excellent for someone who is interested in future employment as a first responder or in healthcare.

Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Lifeguard to join the dynamic team at Summit Waves.  Responsibilities include maintaining a constant vigilance of swimmers, performing actions to save lives, prevent accidents and incidents, initiating and promoting good water safety habits, and assisting in the operation and maintenance of the assigned aquatics facility.

Applicants must be 15 years of age.

A valid American Red Cross lifeguard certification, along with current Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications, is required. LSPR will provide both certifications upon hire, with training valued at over $350.

This position will be working 20-30 hours a week and various days.
