City Crews Spot Treating as Needed Today

The City’s crews plowed and treated primary and secondary streets overnight after just over one inch of snow fell. Residential streets were treated yesterday. Per the City’s snow plan, residential streets are treated with salt and not plowed when total snow accumulations on pavements are less than two inches. Crews will be treating slick spots as needed throughout today, and plan to conclude snow operations at 3:30 p.m. Conditions should be favorable for considerable melting during daytime hours today; however, drivers should be aware refreezing may be possible this evening and overnight into tomorrow Saturday, March 12.
