The City of Lee’s Summit is hosting a public meeting for the Pryor Road Improvements project from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, at Fire Station 7, 2150 SW Scherer Road, Lee’s Summit, MO  64082. A section of Southwest Third Street between Southwest Highland Street and Southwest Lakeview Boulevard is closed for emergency utility repairs. The work is permitted through Friday, March 21. This closure is in the section of Southwest Third Street already closed to thru traffic for the Southwest Third and Southwest Jefferson streets intersection closure. Drivers should follow the posted detour at Southwest Blue Parkway.

A section of Northeast Maybrook Road between Northeast Anderson Drive and Northeast Saint Andrews Circle is set to close to thru traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, for bridge repairs. The wooden bridge on Northeast Maybrook Road will be closed during repairs and traffic is encouraged to use Northeast Anderson Drive as a detour route. The repairs are expected to last one day, weather permitting.
