The City’s crews have been working for several days to dig out after one of the largest snow storms on record. Crews were completing residential streets this morning, and are working to widen lanes and turn lanes on primary and secondary streets. Due to the amount of snow and cold temperatures, crews will begin working through residential streets for a second time to attempt to clean up snow left behind after streets were plowed and treated. The City's crews are set to continue plowing and treating residential streets today, Wednesday, Jan. 8, and overnight into Thursday, Jan. 9. Crews are 47% complete with residential streets, and 71% complete overall. Snow and ice will remain packed to pavements due to cold temperatures, but sunshine should help with melting. Crews are expected to continue working on clean up on Friday, Jan. 10.

The City’s crews plowed and treated residential streets today, Tuesday, Jan. 7, and are set to continue plowing and treating residential streets overnight into Wednesday, Jan. 8. Crews are 21% complete with residential streets, and 56% complete overall.  Parked vehicles on streets are slowing progress. Residents can help the snow control process by moving vehicles and other obstructions from streets.
