Residential streets were treated yesterday. Per the City’s snow plan, residential streets are treated with salt and not plowed when total snow accumulations on pavements are less than two inches. Crews will be treating slick spots as needed throughout today, and plan to conclude snow operations at 3:30 p.m. Conditions should be favorable for considerable melting during daytime hours today; however, drivers should be aware refreezing may be possible this evening and overnight into tomorrow Saturday, March 12. Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Wednesday, March 11 Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Wednesday, March 11 A section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway is set to close on Wednesday, March 11, until Monday, March 16. The work is necessary for concrete work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project. The detour route includes Southeast Douglas Street, Southeast Seventh Street, Southeast Green Street, and Southeast Eighth Street.
