Crews Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Today, Friday, Feb. 18

The City’s crews completed plowing and treating primary and secondary streets overnight, and are approximately 10% complete with residential streets as of this morning, Friday, Feb. 18. Crews will continue plowing and treating residential streets today, and overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19, if necessary. Some streets will continue to be packed with snow even after being plowed and treated. Sun and warmer temperatures on Friday will help with additional melting and roads may become slushy. Refreezing will be possible overnight into Saturday.

A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close Monday, January 12, through Thursday, January 15. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary to complete water line connections.
