City Crews Preparing for Snow Thursday, Feb. 24
The City’s crews are preparing for another round of snow on Thurs., Feb. 24. Crews began pretreatment of residential streets this morning, and will work until 3:30 p.m. today, Wed., Feb. 23. Crews will begin 12 hour shifts at 7 a.m. on Thursday morning to treat and/or plow streets as needed depending on total snow accumulations. Snow is expected to start mid- to late-morning on Thursday and continue into the evening. Crews will focus on primary and secondary streets while snow is falling. Up to one inch of snow is expected.
Per the City’s snow plan, all streets are treated with salt and not plowed when total snow accumulations are less than one inch, and residential streets are treated with salt and not plowed when total snow accumulations are less than two inches.
