Residential streets were treated yesterday. Per the City’s snow plan, residential streets are treated with salt and not plowed when total snow accumulations on pavements are less than two inches. Crews will be treating slick spots as needed throughout today, and plan to conclude snow operations at 3:30 p.m. Conditions should be favorable for considerable melting during daytime hours today; however, drivers should be aware refreezing may be possible this evening and overnight into tomorrow Saturday, March 12. Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Monday, Nov. 17 A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Avenue is set to close on Monday, November 17, for approximately three weeks. The hard closure will be between 1707 and 1725 Northeast Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Mulberry Avenue, Northeast Independence Avenue, and Northeast Colbern Road. The closure is necessary for water main rehabilitation work.
