FOX4 | New Community Space in Downtown Lee’s Summit Set To Open

Green Street, a new community space in Downtown Lee’ Summit, is set to open in just a few days.

“It’s been a part of my entire time. It’s a big project,” Lee’s Summit Mayor Bill Baird shared with FOX4. “It’s a dream that’s been the citizen’s dream for 30-40 years. When I came into office, there had been a bond that had been passed, and I was like we gotta make this happen. That was five years ago. We gotta make this happen.”
