Inclement Winter Weather Route Established for Northwest Quarry Park Road

Inclement Winter Weather Route Established for Northwest Quarry Park Road

The City of Lee’s Summit has established an inclement winter weather route through the Clarkson Construction property north of Northwest Quarry Park Road. This route is necessary due to the upcoming winter weather season and the continued closure of Northwest Quarry Park Road west of Northwest Pryor Road. Access to the inclement winter weather route is from Northwest Quarry Park Road.

This route will only be used when inclement winter weather is forecast and the City anticipates the need to plow and/or treat streets. When these conditions are anticipated, the City’s crews will open the inclement winter weather route through the Clarkson Construction property and close the temporary access on old Noland Road. After winter weather has ended and conditions improve, the City’s crews will reopen the temporary access on old Noland Road and close the inclement winter weather route.

If there are any questions or concerns, contact the Public Works Department at publicworks@cityofls.net or 816.969.1800. For immediate concerns after hours, on weekends, and holidays, contact Fire Dispatch at 816.969.7407 and a Public Works supervisor will be notified.
